Annual Parish Meeting of the Electorate

The Annual Parish Meeting is a legal, yearly gathering for all local government electors in a parish, not just council members, aimed at reviewing the past year’s work. It acts as a community forum for residents to discuss, ask questions and raise ideas regarding local issues with their council. The meeting is an opportunity for the council to report on its activities and for residents to engage.

Stoke Poges & Wexham Women's Institute

Talk: Exciting Wildlife from Around the World

A talk by award-winning photographer Tom Way, focusing on various wildlife hotspots around the world which he has been fortunate enough to visit to photograph amazing wildlife in their natural environments. Tom describes his adventures photographing penguins in The Falklands, orangutans in Borneo, blue whales in Sri Lanka and his biggest passion of all - the big five in Africa.

The WI offers friendship, community support, educational opportunities, new activities and fun. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, 2.15pm - 4pm at Stoke Poges Village Hall.
